CCA Conferences
Fall Conference
Held in October, this conference focuses on bargaining & negotiations and includes Fall Council, the CCA business meeting where chapter delegates approve budgetary changes, elect candidates to fill vacancies, and vote on action items on a variety of issues. |
Winter Conference
Held in mid-February, this conference focuses on advocacy and grievances and includes Winter Council. In alternating years, CCA offers one day academies on grievances and bargaining. |
Spring Conference
Held in April, this conference focuses on membership and member engagement, conducts elections for half of the CCA Board, hosts the annual CCA Awards, and includes Spring Council where delegates approve the upcoming year’s Budget, legislative positions and accompanying policy, and a variety of action items. |

The Community College Association Winter Conference will take place in-person from February 7-9, 2025

Winter AdvocacyThe Winter Conference sessions will highlight Advocacy in addition to lobbying and contract enforcement issues. We will also offer the Grievance Academy and the California Leadership Academy (CLA) this year. Beginning with our 2024 Winter Conference, we are adding a CCA Winter Council. Going forward, all three CCA Conferences will include a Council Session.
